If you’re a fan of Silk Santal then you definitely want to add this to your layering routine. Not only does it smell like and maybe better than the OG but it also lasts longer. These oils don’t leave you greasy and absorb so well. No sticky residue, no stains on clothing. They mix so well with lotions too!
i love wedding silk santal. i am depressed that even regularly respraying, spraying clothes, etc. people can barely smell it on me. i'm even sadder that after a couple hours i can barely smell it on myself, and most of the better-performing dupes i've tried don't get the complexity of the scent quite right. this oil fixed me right up. it starts out with the effervescent opening of the og and evolves into that complex vanilla drydown with surprising faithfulness, plus it lasts and projects.
I am not a fan of the OG Silk Santal so I ordered this with the intent to give this as a gift. Curiosity got the best of me and I opened the oil to smell it and it was love at first sniff. I was so surprised I loved this and it is so pretty. You feel so beautiful wearing this. Needless to say, I did not gift it.
This is the most beautiful and breath catching scent. The oil is well balanced and the perfect layering base to make a woman take pride in her femininity. You won’t go wrong with this. I just wish I could order a larger size than 8oz
